I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University Teacher’s College in New York City and began my professional career at a community clinic in New York. From there I went on to work at Smithers, a substance abuse clinic in Roosevelt Hospital in New York City in their out-patient program. I was responsible for both individual and group counseling work with both high functioning and dual diagnosis patients. In Italy, I have completed a second masters, and a specialization in couples counseling. In my private practice, I am committed to being a resource for the English speaking community as well as the Italian. As a bilingual and dual qualified counselor, being a dual language counselor, I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the European Branch of ACA and Asso Counseling, as well as a member of their Commission on the Internationalization of Counseling. I have collaborated with C.S.C.P. in their “Centro D’Ascolto” and I am a Counselor of Reference for the Fashion Institute of Technology in Florence. At this time, I am also president of the newly formed Mediterranean Region Counselors Association, which is a partof the ACA.
